THE SPACE: This is a bright, north-facing, 1,120 sq ft photo studio located in Emeryville, CA. Large window 12x15 window. The studio has 2 rooms for your use, a client waiting room and the main shoot room with a fully functional kitchen. We are located on the second floor, you can access it via 2 short sets of stairs or a freight elevator. The building has a double-door entrance and roll-up door at the loading dock, which is great for loading most supplies and equipment.

For all rentals, the studio manager will be present at the loft space in case you need any assistance.

LOCATION: Easy commute from SF/Oakland, we are located right off the first exit of the Bay Bridge in west Oakland. We are in a locked, secure building with a secure parking area.

RATES / HOURS / PEOPLE: The studio rents for $500 for an 8-hour day, and $350 for a strict 4 hours, the studio is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., (more time can be negotiated), and additional hours will be charged at $200 per hour. **Lighting/Grip available for an additional cost.

The space can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. Payment for the base rental is required up front to reserve: cancel for a full refund up to 5 days before your booking, 50% up to 48 hours beforehand. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the start time. Payment for any overtime or rental packages is due before leaving. 

PROVIDED WITH RENTAL: Provided with your rental we offer C-stands, sandbags, stools, (2) 6-foot folding tables, a clothing rack, an ironing board, and an iron. A tethering cart with a monitor, and one set of V-flats. Seamless paper is not included in your rental.

There are two rental houses nearby — DTC (grip and lighting) and Ranahan (general production equipment) — very close to the studio. 

STUDIO MANAGER: The studio manager will be on site for all rentals in the loft office.
